Salary: $71,000 - $84,000

Essential Job Functions:
-
Supports the Operations and Finance teams with monthly and quarterly actual versus plan reporting, including related analysis.

Works within Accounting and Finance functions to develop, implement, and report on the company’s comprehensive financial plan, with a focus on inventory, variances, and cost of goods sold.

Makes recommendations for operational improvements, including opportunities to increase revenues and/or reduce costs.

Assists in providing Operations leaders with tools and information for the planning, tracking, and reporting of important performance measures.

Analyzes internal financial information and external economic conditions and their impact on business operations.

Conducts financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and business activities.

Responsible for building and maintaining financial models that support the corporate financial budgeting and forecasting process.
Education Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline or comparable, progressive experience; Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business preferred
General Experience Requirements:
-
1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, and/or FP&A in a corporate environment
-
Experience working as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives that help to improve the organization's financial performance.

Experience in budgeting and forecasting for distribution centers is preferred
Skills and Knowledge:

Understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes

Knowledge of cost and inventory accounting processes; standard cost build-up, purchase price variances, inventory obsolescence, and overhead rate calculations

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as a strong business acumen

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
