Job Description
Position Summary:
The role of Senior Financial Analyst centers on the development and analysis of business models for executive management, including, and not limited to, strategic plans, annual budgets, financial reporting, analysis, and forecasts. This role will also be involved with maintaining financial records in compliance with company policy and will be an integral player in the month-end close.
Responsibilities

Develops and maintains a company budget, and forecast models for use in the strategic planning and ongoing business evaluation processes

Maintains the monthly forecast and forecast revisions to support all departments within Premier
-
Develops ad hoc and on-going financial analysis, forecasts, and models that assist the business in making decisions, effectively communicating trends and outcomes to senior management

Provides senior leaders with meaningful and insightful budget and forecast reports that explain variances and reflect business acumen

Actively participate in the month end process

Heavily involved in the revenue recognition process each month

Supports the VP of Accounting with the monthly reporting process, including variance analysis, trends, and the development of the reporting package.

Recommend ways to improve processes and improve efficiencies

Perform additional duties as assigned by their supervisor
Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance
-
MBA or Master’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting is preferred
-
Minimum of 3-5 years of overall professional work experience, including 2 years of in FP&A related roles

Superior analytical and time management skills

Able to design, implement, improve, maintain standard reports for multiple operations

Able to develop, prepare, and analyze detailed financial statements and key financial metrics
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, working with cross-functional teams with a wide variety of knowledge and backgrounds

Enthusiasm for solving problems, delivering on projects, and documenting processes

Ability take initiative, work independently, and manage through ambiguity

Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed rigid deadlines and complete deliverables across multiple simultaneous high-intensity projects

Technical and business knowledge to include advanced financial modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel; proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications is also required, including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
