As a Financial Analyst within the Corporate Accounting/Finance team, your primary goal is to deliver accurate, insightful financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making across all divisions. You will play a key role in shaping financial strategies through accurate forecasting, pricing analysis, and performance monitoring. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial outcomes with business objectives.

What you can expect to:

  • Month-to-Month Forecast Analysis:
    • Analyze and evaluate month-to-month sale forecast changes to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on forecast analysis.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adjust forecasts as needed to align with business objectives.
  • Budget vs. Forecast Analysis:
    • Identify and investigate sales budget vs forecast variances and provide explanations and recommendations to management.
    • Conduct detailed analysis to compare budgeted financial performance with actual and forecasted results.
    • Assist in developing strategies to mitigate any discrepancies and improve overall financial performance.
  • Price Management Support:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies.
    • Assist with prices changes for commodity adjustments
    • Analyze pricing data and market trends to optimize pricing decisions.
  • Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP):
    • Actively participate in the SIOP process, providing financial insights and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts.
    • Help identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and inventory management.
    • Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to incorporate new product introductions and product lifecycle management into demand plans.
  • Sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Monitoring:
    • Monitor and analyze Sales KPIs to track performance against targets and objectives.
    • Develop reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
    • Provide actionable insights to support decision-making and drive performance improvements.
  • Develop financial models to support pricing, profitability, and investment decisions.
  • Assist in annual budgeting and long-term planning.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features in both Salesforce and SMART Forecasting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of finance/accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query) and data visualization tools (Power BI or similar) preferred.
  • Experience with ERP & CMR systems (examples: Oracle, EPICOR, SAP, etc.). Epicor & Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Experience with financial modeling is preferred.

  • Office and Manufacturing.
  • Occasional travel to other divisions
  • Work with frequent interruptions.
  • Repetitive hand motions and prolonged sitting and use of computer.
