About the Role
We are hiring a
Financial Analyst (General Insurance)
to join one of our leading clients in the GCC. This mid-level role is ideal for professionals with strong financial analysis expertise and prior exposure to the insurance sector. You will play a key role in analyzing financial performance, supporting pricing strategies, and providing insights that drive business decisions across diversified insurance portfolios.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key insurance KPIs (premiums, claims ratios, profitability).

Support pricing and actuarial teams with product profitability analysis and modeling.

Analyze claims data, track trends, and assess reinsurance impacts.

Provide scenario-based financial insights to support strategic planning and new business initiatives.

Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, and Finance teams to align analysis with company strategy.

Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior management decisions.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.

3–5 years
of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in general insurance.

Strong understanding of insurance financial statements, solvency concepts, and IFRS 17 fundamentals.

Proficiency in advanced Excel and data analysis (SQL or equivalent).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred:

Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, CII, or actuarial exams in progress.

Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and global insurance markets.

Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
