Financial Analyst

Job Description:

Susquehanna Management Services Private Limited (SMS) of Mohali, Punjab is currently hiring a Financial Analyst (FA). SMS provides back office, accounting and support services to US-based Companies that operate travel plazas, restaurants, and hotels dedicated to serving travelers in the US. The FA analyzes historical and current operations and financial data to identify potential trends and guide the business to maximize profit. The FA works with different types of data such as company financial statements, industry research, inventory data, and more. The ideal candidate must possess a strong ability to understand and analyze the financial data and strong communication skills, highlighting opportunities for improvement and concerns, if any.

Analyst Roles & responsibilities:

· Expected to work on real time financial and operations data processing

· Analyzing current and past financial data and identifying trends

· Risk identification and escalation, timely escalation of outstanding issues

· Preparing reports on the above information and communicating the insights into

these reports to the wider business

· Suggesting budgets and improvements based on the above information

· Developing financial models and providing financial forecasts

· Developing initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth

Technical and Functional Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

· More than 2 years of experience as financial analyst preferred

· High levels of energy, enthusiasm, commitment and productivity, result oriented

· Proactive communication skills

· Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP)

· Analytical mindset and ability to identify deviations from expectations

· Willingness to learn as well as to develop others

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deliverables

· Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:
