POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, developing reports, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with leadership, accounting, and operations to drive performance, improve financial visibility, and support business growth initiatives.
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with company leaders across the organization and translate business objectives into functional requirements.
- Contribute to the development of Key Performance indicators to support management in monitoring the business operation.
- Develop and maintain systems to track and analyze revenue streams (agencies, terminals, web sales, call center, etc.) and their contribution to overall profitability
- Prepare financial analyses, models, and reports to support decision-making, including capital expenditures, capital leases, long-term contracts, and strategic initiatives
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to ensure alignment with company goals
- Conduct industry benchmarking and competitive analysis to identify market trends, risks, and opportunities
- Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize and streamline business operations across departments
- Evaluate the financial and economic impact of business initiatives and provide actionable recommendations
- Support the monthly financial close process in coordination with the accounting team
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and financial materials for senior management and external stakeholders
- Collaborate on the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems across the organization
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Dispatch, HR, Maintenance, and IT to align financial insights with operational execution
- Support the consolidation of financial data across business entities and drive the standardization of reporting processes across all entities
Perform other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis.
- Understanding of GAAP principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, data analysis, pivot tables)
- Experience with ERP Systems (e.g., SAP, QB, Oracle).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
