The Financial Analyst will be tasked with common accounting duties (AP processing, General Ledger entries)
in addition to supporting facility leaders with financial information and education

Bachelors in accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision, multitask, and prioritize multiple concurrent projects.
Requires excellent human relations skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate both
verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and outside professionals.

1. Prepare and analyze journal entries and post to general ledger.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements and performance.
a. Analyzes trends.
b. Investigates and explains variances.
3. Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in a timely manner.
4. Prepare, assist with, and monitor proformas.
5. Assist section leaders with capital requests.
6. Lead key financial processes such as: budgeting, reporting, data analysis, charge management, etc.
7. Develop and implement tools for financial preparation, analysis, and review.
8. Provide backup support for other analysts.
9. Assist with regulatory compliance.
10. Meet with section leaders on a monthly and needs basis to educate and support financial understanding.
11. Meet with section leaders monthly to discuss financial performance.
12. Accounts payable processing.
13. Keeps abreast of current trends and developments in assigned areas through publications, seminars and
conferences, and peer group associations.
14. Demonstrates initiative and follow through.
a. Recognizes potential problems.
b. Recommends solutions to potential problems.
c. Recognizes opportunities for improvement to current operations.
d. Follows up on outstanding issues.
e. Communicates ideas and concerns effectively.
15. Other tasks and duties as assigned.
