Financial Analyst I (5564)

GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Financial Analyst I in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Processes financial documents and transactions from designated Districts using the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
• Reviews accounting practices to ensure compliance with other Federal laws and regulations (e.g., Single Audit Act), generally accepted Government accounting practices, and relevant Office Management and Budget circulars.
• Identifies corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds.
• Reviews and analyzes annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrates proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software and general knowledge of financial statements.

Position Requirements:

• Four-year undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Superior attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with superior Excel skills (V-lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or Accounting, hands-on experience in processing and managing invoices, and a solid understanding of accounting practices.

Security Requirements:

• Clearance Level Required: Public Trust to Top Secret
• Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
• Successful Pass of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check.
