Financial Analyst I SKA

The Financial Analyst I is responsible for the process and monitoring of financial efforts associated with sustainment support of foreign military customers for various programs. Monitor and report obligations and costs by funding source and ensure obligations and costs do not exceed funding levels. Monitor obligation documents for accuracy and notify appropriate personnel when corrections are required to ensure the accurate and proper documentation and track of funds.

Finance Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and prepare financial documents
  • Organize, maintain, and electronically track all financial related documents
  • Enter and maintain financial data in Information System
  • Monitor transaction compliance on all milestones, deliverables, and invoicing
  • Reconcile commitment and obligation documents and work with customer to ensure proper delivery reporting of FMS case obligations
  • Monitor expenditures and obligations through review of written documents and examination of accounting records
  • Establish and maintain financial files to meet contract requirements and document all actions according to internal procedures and policies


Quality Management:

  • Provide support and data for administrative and Quality Management System support


Other Duties:

  • Travel in accordance with contract requirements
  • Must perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management


Education


  • Associate Degree in accounting, finance, or related field from an accredited university/college required. Related work experience may be substituted for education requirements (2 years of related experience is equivalent to 1 year of college).


Experience


  • Minimum of five (3) years’ experience in Accounts Receivable preferred.


License, Cert or Registration


  • Current drivers’ license, proof of U.S. citizenship and the ability to satisfy a background investigation to obtain a security clearance.


Special knowledge, skills, & abilities


  • Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail required.
  • Must be proficient with computers, software and general office equipment.
  • Must have intermediate or higher proficiency using Microsoft Office programs specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • U. S. Air Force finance experience preferred.
