As we continue to grow and expand our reach, we're looking for a Financial Analyst Intern who will play a key role in supporting our financial decision-making. In this role, you'll assist in analyzing financial data, developing reports, and contributing insights that guide strategic planning. You'll collaborate closely with our finance team, learn best practices, and help drive initiatives that strengthen our financial operations—ensuring we have the clarity and insight needed to make a lasting difference in the lives of students.

The Role

As a Financial Analyst Intern, you'll play a meaningful role in supporting our finance team—contributing to day-to-day analysis while learning how financial insights shape organizational decisions. You'll assist with data extraction, data review, and reporting, gaining hands-on experience that helps strengthen our financial operations.

The ideal candidate will be located in Sacramento, CA and able to work on a hybrid schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with finance and operational leaders to understand business objectives and support data-driven decision-making through targeted analyses.
  • Build and maintain financial models and reports in Excel, leveraging Power Pivot, Power Query, and advanced formulas to ensure accurate, scalable outputs.
  • Prepare clear, reliable reporting packages that highlight key metrics, trends, and variances for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Play an active role in forecasting and budgeting by validating data inputs and digging into drivers behind results.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes through automation, improved data structures, and documented best practices.

Compensation: $20.00-$23.00
