Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst, who will create cost control transparency and drive performance in Manufacturing. The successful candidate will add value through timely financial reporting, working with Operations departments to ensure accurate forecasting, perform financial analysis on deviations to forecast and budget with proactiveness on root cause identification, reporting on KPIs, and risks and opportunities management. This position will report to the Performance Controlling Manager, Sacramento.

This role will be based in Sacramento, CA

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Oversee cost control, monitoring, and performance analysis across Operations in Sacramento.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Prepare inputs for monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze KPIs, identify deviations, trends, and root causes.
  • Support scenario planning and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to optimize costs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Operations and Performance Controlling Manager.
  • Manage cost centers, allocations, and timely data submissions.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting preferred
  • 5+ years of financial planning or accounting experience
  • Strong analytical skills and financial modeling expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proven ability to consolidate and analyze large financial datasets
  • Experience driving process improvements and continuous learning
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative, constructive approach

The base salary range for this position in California is $100,266.00- $117,912.00. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
