Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:

  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
  • Participate in improvement of master data management process.
  • Develop informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the company's growth and financial goals by performing data mining and analysis that impacts foundation pricing and risk assumptions.
  • Ensure and measure master data integrity.
  • Interact with executives, managers, subject matter experts and development teams.
  • Assist the CFO with the planning and budgeting process.
  • Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data.
  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
  • Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses and studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Monitor financial performance and highlight trends across KPIs.
  • Support monthly and quarterly business metric reporting process for management and board of directors.
  • Provide support in ad-hoc analysis to assist internal decisions for senior management through data gathering and analysis.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budget, variance analysis, etc.).
  • Assist with financial planning and forecasting.
  • Help maintain and communicate a corporate repository of metric definitions to ensure that there is a single and unambiguous definition of every metric.
  • Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual vs. budget variances.
  • Provide financial analysis support to specific projects.
  • Develop integrated revenue/expense analysis, projections, reports, and presentations.
  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
