Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager / Financial Analyst to lead our inventory management and financial reporting functions. In this dual role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, including maintaining optimal stock levels, supervising inventory staff, and ensuring accurate records using Brightree software. You will also provide Executive Leadership with profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards in patient care and operational excellence.

This position will be on site at our Carol Stream office.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management Responsibilities:

·Lead inventory control operations, ensuring sufficient stock to meet demand while preventing overstocking.

· Maintain and audit accurate inventory records in Brightree software, tracking all incoming and outgoing stock.

· Analyze sales trends and forecast future inventory needs to optimize stock levels.

· Train, supervise, and support inventory staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and company procedures.

· Collaborate with purchasing and sales departments to align inventory needs and resolve stock issues.

· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and other issues.

· Foster positive interactions with vendors, building and maintaining strong professional relationships to support effective inventory management and resolve supply issues promptly.

Financial Analysis Responsibilities:

· Analyze inventory costs and monitor key financial metrics to support budgeting, cost control, and strategic decision-making.

· Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports related to inventory, including variance analysis, trend identification, and performance tracking against established benchmarks.

· Conduct root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and cost variances, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

· Collaborate to develop and implement process improvements that enhance financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and reporting timeliness.

· Support forecasting and planning activities by providing data-driven insights on inventory turnover, carrying costs, and purchasing trends.

· Assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment between inventory management and overall financial objectives.

· Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements as they relate to inventory and financial reporting.

· Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize inventory utilization, reduce waste, and improve profitability.

Qualifications

  • Brightree experience is a must.
  • Excel proficiency is a must.
  • Demonstrated skill in overseeing inventory management processes, with a focus on the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry
  • Extensive experience conducting thorough and precise financial analyses
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and train staff and work collaboratively across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,709.71 - $70,704.17 per year
