We’re looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented Associate of Analytics to join our team. In this role, you will analyze healthcare costs, review insurance plan performance, and help clients make smart financial decisions about their benefits. You’ll work closely with consultants, account managers, and insurance carriers to review data, negotiate rates, and support the overall strategy.
Someone who is a natural with Excel and other technology while enjoying data analytics, claims evaluation, plan design, cost modeling and contract comparison will be successful in this role. This role is well suited for an individual who possesses a natural curiosity and a drive to uncover insights and solve problems.

Required Job Skills and Qualifications
· 3-5+ years of experience underwriting for health and welfare benefits, preferably in a consulting, brokerage, or insurance environment
· Deep knowledge of employee benefits product lines including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary plans
· Experience working with self-funded and fully insured plans and understanding of alternative funding methodologies
· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Risk Management or Health Informatics.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas, modeling, and data visualization)
· Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and other Office applications
· Comfort navigating and interpreting large healthcare datasets (medical, Rx, disability, etc.)
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong organizational skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including business writing and presentation delivery
· Collaborative team mindset with the ability to work independently and contribute in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
· Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders, including carriers and client teams
· Consistently represent Creative Benefits, Inc. in a professional manner
Preferred Job Skills and Qualifications
· Maintains an active Life and Health insurance license.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position is an individual contributor and not responsible for the leadership of other employees.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool, as necessary. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and photocopiers.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a permanent, full-time position. Days and hours of work are during normal business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel to clients occurs occasionally. Travel is primarily local during the business day. On rare occasions, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Mileage is reimbursed. On occasion, travel between offices for the workday may be expected for expanded learning opportunities, collaboration and in-person meetings.
