Our Collision Shop Controller plays a vital role in ensuring the financial stability, operational efficiency, and continued success of our body shop operations. This position balances accounting, payroll, human resources, strategic planning, and leadership responsibilities while working directly with ownership and shop managers to support the growth and success of our organization.

As our Collision Shop Controller, you will oversee accounting and administrative operations while ensuring the highest level of accuracy, integrity, compliance, and performance in all financial and HR procedures.
Responsibilities as our Collision Shop Controller include:
- Collaborate with ownership and management to develop and implement policies and procedures for our growing body shop operations.
- Manage all accounting functions including:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Financial reporting
- General ledger maintenance
- Process and oversee payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all federal and state payroll regulations.
- Assist with Human Resources functions including:
- Employee onboarding and new hire paperwork
- Benefits administration
- Maintaining employee records
- Assisting with compliance and workplace policies
- Supporting employee relations and personnel documentation
- Maintain and improve systems of accounting policies, internal controls, and administrative procedures to minimize financial and operational risk.
- Prepare complete monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial and operational information and trends.
- Provide financial analysis with emphasis on pricing decisions, profitability, forecasting, and contract negotiations.
- Produce annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits and tax preparation support.
- Work closely with ownership to support strategic planning and continued company growth.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to support company operations.
Qualifications for our Collision Shop Controller:
- Strong accounting and financial management knowledge.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with payroll processing and HR administration preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting/tax preparation software.
- Proficient in QuickBooks.
- Experience with CCC or other Auto Body Management Software is a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 5+ years of accounting, controller, bookkeeping, or financial management experience preferred.
- Experience as an Accountant or CPA is a plus.

Pay: $82,800.00 - $98,400.00 per year
