Financial Controller/ Sr. Accountant

Role:
AIMS Education, College of Health Sciences is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our leadership team. This individual will own the day-to-day accounting operations, consisting of both routine and non-routine duties with an emphasis on general ledger management, account analysis, and reconciliation, accounts payable, journal entry, month-end close as well as special projects. Candidate must keep abreast of and apply GAAP, accounting guidance, and relative company policies, practices, and procedures. Ongoing research and implementing all government compliance to the day-to-day practice. Assist in special projects which may involve assisting with interdepartmental initiatives and ad hoc reports. Solid knowledge of Data analysis, spreadsheets, excel, access and QuickBooks is a must. 6+ years of experience in similar practice is required. Aims Education is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of related work experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications with a focus on Excel and Quickbooks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
