Financial Coordinator

McLaughlin Spendlove Orthodontics is hiring for a Financial Coordinator/Collection Specialist. This is a past due collection focused position. Approximately 25-30 hours per week.

Successful candidates should have:

· Dental/Orthodontic collections experience (preferred), however willing to train the right person

· Understanding of dental/orthodontic insurance verification, billing, and collections (or medical billing experience)

· Ability to quickly learn new computer software

· Ability to provide excellent customer service while accomplishing collection goals

· Self-motivation, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and accuracy

· Exhibits professionalism and trustworthiness

· Possess good writing and communication skills

Job Duties

· Delinquent collection phone calls

· Processing collection statements and letters

· Following up on patient agreements/contracts

· Processing payments via phone and in person

· Provide weekly accounts receivable reports to manager

· Performs other duties as assigned
