Our client is a leading private equity firm with a strong focus on investments in Turkey—and they’re growing.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the firm’s finance, tax, and reporting agenda across multiple jurisdictions. This is a high-ownership role overseeing large investor budgets and partnering closely with senior leadership, investment teams, external advisers, and service providers.
What You’ll Do
-
Manage monthly/quarterly closes, consolidations, IFRS/local GAAP compliance, and high-quality management reporting.
-
Drive M&A tax and international tax workstreams (structuring, due diligence, step plans).
-
Manage corporate and fund tax filings across countries and coordinate with external advisors.
-
Oversee capital calls, distributions, fee/expense allocations, and LP reporting.
-
Partner with administrators, custodians, and auditors to deliver accurate and timely outputs.
-
Manage large budgets and multi-entity cash flow, treasury/FX, and working capital.
-
Implement robust internal controls and finance policies.
-
Serve as a trusted counterpart to investors, banks, advisors, and portfolio company finance leaders.
-
Communicate clearly and credibly at senior levels.
-
Plan, prioritize, and deliver with minimal supervision while mentoring junior resources and coordinating cross-functional work.
What We’re Looking For
-
12–15 years of progressive experience in finance/tax; Big 4 corporate/international/M&A tax background strongly preferred.
-
Demonstrated expertise in international tax and cross-border structuring; comfortable navigating differing accounting standards and tax regimes.
-
Proven track record managing large budgets and multi-entity environments; strong grasp of IFRS and consolidated reporting.
-
Experience coordinating multi-country finance and tax processes for investment structures and operating entities (including key European fund domiciles).
-
Excellent command of English (written and spoken); clear, concise communicator with strong executive presence.
-
High integrity, sound judgment, and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach; able to work independently and drive outcomes in a lean, fast-paced setting.
-
Advantageous: familiarity with fund finance mechanics (capital calls, distributions, LP reporting), treasury/FX, and finance systems implementation.
