KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead financial strategic planning and evaluate performance metrics, risks, and business opportunities.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor budgets to align with corporate financial objectives.
  • Generate precise financial performance reports to support executive decision-making.
  • Manage financial analysis, covering revenue, expenses, and CapEx trends.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, governance policies, and internal control standards.
  • Manage financial risk following the RMF to improve cost control, revenue assurance, and fraud prevention.
  • Monitor financial trends, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to enhance financial sustainability.
  • Act as the primary contact for external and internal auditors, central banks, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous team development through structured learning programs, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and guidance on professional certification paths (e.g., CFA, SOCPA).
  • Support in setting strategic planning and overseeing the implementation of departmental initiatives.
  • Participate in developing financial policies and procedures that align with best practices.
  • Manage financial closing processes, reporting cycles, and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain precise financial records, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Analyze and develop budget forecasts, cost recovery strategies, and liquidity plans.
  • Understanding the use of quantitative analysis in financial forecasting and planning trends.


Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum Eight years of experience in the financial sector as a Financial Department Director.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Master of Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional certificate, preferably (CMA, CBP, SOCPA, CCP).

  • Ability and efficiency in creating and delivering presentations to executives with excellence.
  • Professional certifications such as CA, SOCPA, ACCA, and CMA.
