Finance Director -ARABIC speaker, Chartered Accountant is Mandatory

Client- Holdings Group Multiple verticals – Security, Engineering, Real Estate, Energy, Environment. Location- Dubai Salary – AED 40,000 to AED 45,000

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director (Arabic & English Speaker) to lead the financial operations of a leading holding company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, regional experience, and proven expertise in financial strategy, governance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Strategy

• Develop and oversee long-term financial goals and strategies.
• Forecast future financial performance based on current trends, market conditions, and business data.

Budgeting & Cost Management

• Lead the organization-wide budgeting process across all departments and business units.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure strict adherence to approved financial plans.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports to senior management, board members, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure full compliance with accounting standards and regulations (IFRS, GAAP, and relevant local regulations).

Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Oversee insurance coverage, investment strategies, and internal risk control frameworks.

Cash Flow Management

• Oversee cash flow planning and management to ensure sufficient liquidity.
• Manage working capital effectively to support operational and strategic needs.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Ensure all financial practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal corporate policies.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, including accountants, controllers, and financial analysts.
• Drive performance, accountability, and continuous professional development within the team.

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the company’s financial spokesperson with investors, auditors, financial institutions, and the Board of Directors.
• Present financial performance, forecasts, and strategic insights clearly and effectively.

Strategic Decision Support

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business decisions and growth strategies.
• Actively participate in mergers, acquisitions, investments, and business expansion initiatives.

ERP & Systems Implementation

• Lead the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of financial systems and ERP tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Treasury, or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience at Director level in a similar role.
• Experience working within holding companies or multi-entity business structures is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and UAE regulatory frameworks.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication abilities.

• Experience handling multi-vertical business environments.
• Expertise in ERP systems and financial transformation projects.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
