Financial Manager - Construction Industry

We are seeking a high-caliber Financial Manager with a proven track record in the construction industry to lead our financial strategy and operations.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy, aligned with overall business objectives.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO for strategic decision-making.
Lead long-term financial planning to support sustainable business growth.
Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with project and department managers.
Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Oversee financial planning and cost control for all projects, ensuring compliance with project budgets.
Monitor project cash flows, billing, and collections to maintain liquidity.
Evaluate project profitability and financial risks.
Analyze operational costs and identify opportunities for savings.
Implement best practices for cost tracking and reporting.
Manage company liquidity, working capital, and funding requirements.
Optimize cash flow to meet operational and project needs.
Negotiate and manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing arrangements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CMA (Certified Management Accountant) highly preferred; CPA or CFA is an advantage.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the construction industry (mandatory).
Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, and cash flow management.
Strategic financial planning and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
