Financial Operations Manager / Owner's Financial Assistant

We're looking for someone who wants to become a trusted financial resource for a growing group of Arizona businesses.

This role is ideal for an experienced bookkeeper, accounting professional, or financial administrator who enjoys solving problems, creating organization, and working directly with ownership rather than getting lost in a large corporate environment.

You'll work directly with entrepreneur and business owner helping oversee the financial organization of multiple businesses while supporting budgeting, reporting, cash flow visibility, and coordination with our CPA.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Cleaning up and maintaining QuickBooks records
  • Managing financial information across multiple companies
  • Creating and improving financial reports
  • Assisting with budgets and forecasting
  • Monitoring cash flow and financial trends
  • Preparing information for tax filings and CPA review
  • Helping ownership understand financial performance
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes
  • Serving as a trusted resource for financial administration and organization

Experience Required

  • Strong QuickBooks experience
  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Understanding of P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and cash flow
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills

Schedule

Flexible hybrid environment.

Initial training and onboarding will be conducted in person. Once established, a combination of office and remote work is available based on performance and business needs.

Compensation

  • $25–$35 per hour
  • Full-time equivalent compensation generally ranges from $50,000–$75,000 annually depending on experience
