Duties

• Conduct thorough financial analysis to evaluate company performance, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and interpret financial statements in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes by providing accurate financial data and insights.
• Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
• Perform account analysis and reconcile discrepancies across various financial software systems.
• Assist in cost accounting initiatives to optimize expense management and improve profitability.
• Contribute to corporate finance activities such as pricing strategies, investment evaluations, and profit maximization efforts.
• Collaborate with teams across public accounting, internal audit, and finance departments to enhance financial report writing and analysis capabilities.
• Support technical accounting functions related to IFRS, regulatory standards, and internal policies for accurate financial statement preparation.
• Develop organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high accuracy in financial report interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial analysis within corporate accounting or public accounting environments.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, SOX compliance, and regulatory reporting standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial software applications such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or similar platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning techniques.
• Effective communication skills for clear financial report writing and presentation of findings.
• Familiarity with technical accounting concepts including profit & loss analysis, investment evaluation, and pricing strategies.
• Ability to interpret financial concepts accurately while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
