We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support strategic financial planning and decision-making. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, this role is responsible for developing robust financial models, analyzing complex data, and delivering actionable insights to drive business performance and growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning initiatives

• Conduct benchmarking, process analysis, and variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement

• Prepare quarterly and annual profit forecasts with precision and strategic insight

• Compare projected financial outcomes with actual results and recommend course corrections where necessary

• Collaborating on the development and management of the annual budgeting process

• Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders across departments

• Create and maintain detailed cost projections to guide investment and operational decisions

• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT to streamline financial analysis and reporting

• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information and investment strategies

• Collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.

• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and cost management.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and present insights and recommendations.

• Assist with internal audits and external financial audits

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or FPAC preferred.

• 2-5 year recent experience as a proven Financial Analyst, or a similar role

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, or similar)

• Familiarity with financial data and data visualization

• Understanding of accounting and the monthly/quarterly/annual close process

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Stand, walk, and sit at desk for extended periods.

• Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
