Essential Job Duties
Monthly variance analysis and management reporting
Oversees the Forecasting and Annual Planning cycles for business segment
Monitoring and identifying cost & revenue trends
Membership analytics
Manage the segment’s capital investment request/prioritization process including assisting the business partners with development of strong business cases
Work cross functionally to provide financial information and aid in strategic decisions, including development of financial models
Identify areas of cost reduction and operational improvement
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of health care finance and/or analytical experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
Advanced training or experience in health care analytics.
Ability to convert data to meaningful reports.
Strong critical-thinking and attention to detail.
Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong time-management skills and ability to manage simultaneous projects and tasks to meet internal deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products, including key skills in Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables), and applicable software program(s) proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Health insurance industry experience.
Experience with specialized financial analytics software.
Proficient in SQL/Power BI

Pay Range: $65,791.66 - $142,548.59 / ANNUAL
