Financial Planning Client Care Specialist

The purpose of this position is to: 1) on-board new clients to include opening IRAs, retiree accounts and non-qualified accounts, as well as providing annuity and life insurance account support, and 2) service our existing client base with all service requests including beneficiary changes/withdrawals, index annuity reallocations, incoming client service calls, database management, as well as client appointment preparation (updating client account summaries and prepping the main advisor for review meetings) and preparing issued accounts for delivery.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • New account set-up, processing custodian service request, money movement, correspondence processing, and overall operation team administrative functions
  • Validate advisor-carrier contracting prior to application submission
  • Organizes and prioritizes workload to ensure applications are reviewed and sent to the carrier within service level commitment
  • Maintain internal processing database to document work activity
  • Works within our client management system to keep the team updated on progress
  • Engages in frequent communication with our partners
  • Provides a superior customer experience
  • Ensure the department work is processed with accuracy, timeliness, and completeness

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 1 – 3 years of real life experience serving financial planning clients
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong follow through and sense of urgency, strong relationship building skills and problem solving skills
  • Handles multiple tasks easily and in an orderly fashion
  • Demonstrates ownership of their work & the overall process
  • Team player
  • Willingness to learn and complete various functions within Operations as assigned
  • Microsoft proficient

Pay: $52,260.94 - $70,937.91 per year
