Senior Financial Program Analyst

We're working with a high-growth, private equity-backed P&C insurance powerhouse managing over $2 billion in premiums on this exciting opportunity.

This is a high-impact role sitting at the critical intersection of Underwriting, Finance, and Systems Architecture. You will be the architect behind the financial setup of complex insurance programs, leveraging powerhouse platforms like Workday and Duck Creek to ensure multi-billion dollar premium flows are structured for success.

The Role

  • Lead the financial configuration and lifecycle management of P&C insurance programs within the Duck Creek Reinsurance System and Workday Accounting Center.
  • Architect financial structures for new program onboardings and renewals, ensuring seamless bridging between underwriting intent and accounting execution.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between Data, Underwriting, and Treasury teams to identify and mitigate financial or system impacts early in the program lifecycle.
  • Manage complex calculation models and calculation bases in Duck Creek to support accurate premium and reinsurance processing.
  • Oversee credit risk assessments and collateral requirements, including trust account funding and minimum collateral thresholds for MGAs and reinsurers.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of heavyweight experience in reinsurance accounting, underwriting support, or insurance financial systems.
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise financial platforms; direct experience with Workday Accounting Center or Duck Creek Reinsurance is a massive advantage.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of P&C insurance program structures, reinsurance treaties, and ledger accounting principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Risk Management.
  • An analytical "systems thinker" mindset—you enjoy documenting complex logic and translating business needs into technical system requirements.
