Responsibilities
- Assist customers with a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and cash handling with accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage customer relationships by providing personalized financial advice and offering appropriate banking products and services.
- Detect and prevent fraud through vigilant monitoring of transactions and adherence to security protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of transactions using financial software and perform basic math calculations such as debits & credits, and cash management.
- Support customers in account management activities including account openings, closures, and updates.
- Conduct cash handling duties with precision using 10 key typing skills to ensure accuracy in daily operations.
- Educate customers on banking products such as savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and other financial services.
- Collaborate with team members to meet company goals related to customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience or familiarity with financial sales, customer service, or banking operations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial software applications and basic math skills including retail math, debits & credits, and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills with an emphasis on relationship building.
- Ability to detect fraud prevention signals and adhere to security policies.
- Demonstrated ability to perform cashiering duties accurately using 10 key typing skills.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in finance or related field is advantageous.
