Responsibilities

  • Engage in outside sales activities to identify potential clients and present comprehensive financial solutions tailored to their goals
  • Conduct retail sales of insurance, investment, and other financial products with professionalism and clarity
  • Negotiate terms and close sales by understanding client needs and offering suitable options
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining product features, and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Manage sales administration tasks including documentation, follow-up communications, and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote financial services through various channels, including telemarketing efforts
  • Analyze client data to identify opportunities for cross-selling additional financial products or services
  • Assist clients with benefits administration and ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as HIPAA when handling sensitive information

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the financial services industry is preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively
  • Excellent analysis skills for assessing client needs and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Knowledge of insurance sales, benefits administration, and customer service best practices
  • Effective communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members alike
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies used in financial services to attract new clients
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulations when necessary
