Financial Services Representative

Sea West Coast Guard Federal Credit Union ($400M in assets) has a job opening for a customer oriented Financial Services Representative at our Petaluma branch located on the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center.

Job Role:
Are you a people person with a passion for helping others achieve their financial goals? Join Sea West Federal Credit Union as a Financial Services Representative II or III. You will be the friendly face of our branch, providing exceptional service to our member-owners. In this role, you’ll contribute to the Credit Union's success by selling and referring our products and services. The Financial Services Representative blends accuracy with engagement—processing transactions, resolving inquiries, and introducing members to products that improve their financial well-being.

Job Responsibilities:

· Provides professional, knowledgeable, and friendly service to current and prospective members conducting business at the branch and by telephone

· Provides information on the Credit Union’s excellent financial products and services and cross-sells Credit Union products and services that will benefit the member

· Opens new savings, checking, certificate, and IRA accounts

· Accurately processes member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments

· Provides information pertaining to lending products and quotes rates, terms, and types of loans and credit cards offered by the Credit Union

· Assist members in using the Credit Union’s products and services including online and mobile banking systems

· Handles member requests for ATM and Debit cards, check/statement copies, check orders, stop payments, and ACH origination

· Participates in membership development activities and represents the Credit Union at community events

· Handles other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

· High School graduate or equivalent

· Two (2) years’ experience in a financial institution

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Proactive “can do” customer service approach

. Ability to effectively cross-sell products and services using a need- based sales approach

· PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Outlook

· Basic knowledge of banking regulations

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· High attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,500.00 - $6,250.00 per month
