Financial Services Representative

Duties

  • Engage with customers through outside sales efforts, including outreach and community networking, to promote financial products and services.
  • Conduct activities by presenting options such as insurance policies and other financial solutions tailored to clients' needs and goals.
  • Negotiate terms by understanding client needs and offering customized recommendations while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage administration tasks, including processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Utilize analysis skills to assess customer financial situations and identify suitable service options and solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining product features, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the client experience.
  • Communicate financial concepts and product information clearly and effectively, helping clients make informed decisions.
  • Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events, prospecting activities, and outreach campaigns to expand the client base and generate new business opportunities.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively close deals while maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills for clearly explaining complex financial products and services.
  • Familiarity with Insurance administration processes and CRM systems for tracking leads and client interactions.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions, including insurance and benefits-related products.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive health-related information in insurance contexts.
  • Ability to adapt marketing strategies based on analysis of market trends and customer feedback.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport, maintain professionalism, and foster long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and achieve sales objectives.

Preferred Qualifications
