BTC Connect is seeking a detail-orientated and analytical Financial Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the organisation's financial health, supporting our strategic goals through meticulous analysis, reporting, and financial modelling. You will be responsible for a wide range of financial duties that are essential to the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities

* Conducting detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and identify trends.
* Preparing and presenting comprehensive financial reports, including monthly and quarterly statements, for senior management.
* Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Monitoring spending and financial performance, comparing actuals against budgets and providing variance analysis.
* Managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Performing account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
* Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

* A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Proven experience working as a Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst, or in a similar role.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial modelling.
* Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.
