Fine Dining Server

Petroleum Club of Midland is seeking a part-time evening Al a carte Server. We have two Dining rooms that candidates will rotate between when needed. Must be organized and reliable with full-service/upscale restaurant experience.

Provide food and beverage service to club members and guests

Job Tasks

1. Set up service stations and performs assigned side work

2. Provides immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating

3. Distributes menus as needed

4. Answers questions about the food preparation and suggests menu items

5. Takes food and drink orders

6. Places orders in the kitchen, informs the cook about any special cooking instructions

7. Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary

8. Delivers meal; places dishes by courses in front of each guest

9. Timely check ins to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenishes water, butter or drinks as necessary

10. Removes soiled dishes from table

11. Suggests and serves dessert, coffee and/or after dinner drinks

12. Assures bill accuracy and delivers to table

13. Keeps tables, dining room and bus station areas clean

14. Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur; handles issues promptly

15. Performs clean up and closing duties as assigned by the manager

16. Prepared to make and serve bar beverages as needed

Reports to dining room supervisor and service manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
