Fine Dining Server - Part Time

About Us

We are an Upscale Private Club located on the Intracoastal near downtown Fort Lauderdale looking for Friendly, Out-Going, and Professional Staff to Join Our Team and create memorable experiences for our Members and Guests!

We are seeking dedicated Fine Dining Servers and Bartenders to join our team at our prestigious dining establishment. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our Members and Guests in an upscale dining environment.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE PRIOR SERVER AND/OR BARTENDER EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR SETTING AND BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE INCLUDING DAY and NIGHT SHIFTS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS.
• PRIVATE CLUB / COUNTRY CLUB AND/OR FINE DINING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
• BACKGROUND SCREENING AND DRUG TESTING ARE REQUIRED (INCLUDING MARIJUANA).
• CONSERVATIVE DRESS CODE DOES NOT PERMIT VISIBLE TATTOOS, FACE PIERCINGS, AND LONG NAILS.
• LONGER HAIR MUST BE PULLED BACK.

Server Pay: Starting at $16.00 plus Tips and Commission on Bottles of Wine, Desserts, and Lunch or Dinner Specials.

Staff Meals -Lunch and/or Dinner for your shift provided at No Cost.

Familiarity with NorthStar POS a Plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Present menus confidently, highlighting specials and wine pairings to enhance the dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Northstar POS system.
• Serve food and drinks professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation throughout service.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, promptly addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism.
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen communication to uphold food safety standards and quality control.
• Support other team members with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the dining area.

Knowledge and Experience

• Proven experience in fine dining service or upscale restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Northstar POS system is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tables efficiently.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting.
• A friendly attitude combined with professionalism that aligns with the high standards of fine dining hospitality.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
