Fine Dining Server's Assistant

Ocean is hiring server assistants. The Server Assistant is to assist the food server in assuring prompt and polite service to the members and their guests. As an assistant to the a la carte/banquet server, they are responsible for preparing service stations, assisting in the service to members and their guests, and clearing and resetting tables. Pay is hourly rate plus tips.

Essential Functions:

Assists servers in their tasks

Serves water, bread and salsa as guests are seated.

Ensures all service stations in the kitchen are stocked and ready for service.

Removes dishes from table; brings to dish washing area.

Carry food to tables using the correct seat positions on the ticket. Place entrée to the correct seat positions accordingly.

Sets tables with silverware, glassware and other items.

Polishes silverware before and after shifts.

Cleans dining room areas.

Removes dirty linen, restocks work area with clean linens.

Stocks servers’ station with supplies.

Restocks bus station continually with silverware, napkins and other supplies.

Maintains cleanliness of all dining and patio areas.

Moves through the dining room quickly and with purposefully

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour
