Elegant retirement community is seeking a full-time and part-time, Wait Staff in our professional, fun, and friendly dining room! Permanent year-round employment. Interacts with and provides direct dining services to residents and guests in formal dining setting. Takes food and drink orders, delivers orders, removes completed plates and other service items, and resets tables.

Position Summary: Full-Time Wait Staff

• Presets dining tables with proper linens, dishes, glassware, silver and other required items.
• Maintains open communication with cooks about food specials each day and replenishment needs for desserts, fruits, salad bar, etc.
• Assists residents and guests to tables as needed.
• Takes all meal related orders and delivers them to cooks promptly.
• Communicates with cooks about special requests on food orders.
• Delivers food and drink items as soon as they are ready.
• Monitors dining tables for additional guest needs and requests including water and drink refills, seconds, and desserts.
• Assists residents and guests with salad bar as needed, including preparing salad and delivering to table if requested.
• Removes used service items from tables as quickly as possible.
• Clears, cleans and resets tables upon guest departure.
• Maintains coffee, bread, and water stations.
• Refills salt, pepper, sugars, etc. on tables
• Cleans, stocks, and refills condiment containers.
• Folds napkins for table settings.
• Assists as directed, with special event and catered event setup, serving and tear down.
• Responds courteously and professionally to all residents, guests and co-workers.
