FINISH CARPENTER/CABINET MAKER

Position Overview:
Extron is looking for a Finish Carpenter/Cabinet Maker to support our Facilities/Maintenance department at our Anaheim, CA location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Construct and assemble high-quality cabinetry, furniture, and custom woodwork for sets, experiential builds, and trade shows.
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately.
- Build cabinetry, fixtures, set flats, and other custom wood elements, leveraging your woodworking expertise.
- Prepare components for finishing, including sanding and prepping for the paint department, using techniques familiar to cabinet makers.
- Utilize tools such as table saws, routers, sanders, planers, and hand tools safely and efficiently, with an emphasis on precision woodworking.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance productivity and safety.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7 to 10+ years of demonstrated construction and woodshop experience, including operation of tools and machinery for woodworking projects.
- Background in both residential and commercial construction, with an understanding of building practices and materials.
- Proficiency in cabinetmaking and finish carpentry techniques, including precision cutting, joining, sanding, and finishing. Ability to work with wood, plywood, MDF, laminates, and veneers.
- Ability to lift moderate weights as required for handling materials and equipment.
- Experience with AutoCAD design, able to create and interpret technical drawings.
- Skilled in designing and building furniture, from concept to finished product.
- Expertise in furniture and cabinetry, including installation and finishing.
- Assists with tradeshow display setup, including transport and assembly of materials.
- Ability to support various tasks related to woodshop and construction environments.
- Always maintain a professional and clean appearance.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Contractor license preferred but not required.
Salary range: $38.00 to $45.00 per hour. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
