Finishing Carpenter for Joinery Works

We are looking for a talented and experienced Finishing Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the joinery industry, with a proven track record of completing high-quality woodworking projects, including trims, moldings, doors, wardrobes, cabinets and custom wood installations, to meet the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

· To read blueprints, technical drawings and construction plans.

· To use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.

· To measure, cut, and shape carpentry materials with precision.

· To build and install custom cabinetry, shelving units (cupboard and wardrobes), doors and furniture as per design and specification.

· To apply stains, paints, and finishes, ensuring a high-quality appearance.

· To carry out sanding and polishing on wood surfaces to achieve desired aesthetics.

· To maintain tools and machinery and to keep the workplace clean and safe

· To load, unload, and move materials and finished products.

· To ensure production timeline, quality standard and safety procedures.

Requirements

· Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as Finishing Carpenter in Joinery Interior Fit-Out work.

· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and installation techniques.

· Good understanding of joinery materials (Wood, MDF, Veneer, Laminates, Finishes, Hardware, and Ironmongeries),

· Additional knowledge of painting, and polishing.

· Ability to work independently.

· Able to communicate in English
