Finishing Foreman - High Rise Construction

Job Summary:

The Finishing Foreman manages all finishing trades on site—including plastering, painting, tiling, false ceilings, flooring, joinery, and final architectural finishes—to ensure high-quality aesthetics, adherence to project specifications, and timely handover of building interiors. Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Supervise daily finishing activities, ensuring execution aligns with approved drawings, method statements, and QC standards.
• Team & Subcontractor Management: Lead, mentor, and coordinate a diverse team of skilled labor (masons, painters, carpenters, tilers) and subcontractors to optimize productivity.
• Progress Tracking: Manage manpower deployment per trade to meet critical path deadlines.
• Quality Control & Snagging: Conduct regular inspections, identify defects, and manage the rectification process (snagging and de-snagging) to ensure high-end finishing standards.
• Material Management: Oversee the proper usage of finishing materials, inspect delivered materials, and minimize wastage.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment, conducting daily toolbox talks focusing on finishing hazards.
• Reporting: Prepare daily reports on work progress, labor productivity, and material consumption to report to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Finishing Foreman, specifically within the UAE/GCC construction industry.
• Project Background: Proven experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects or luxury villa projects.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, finishing details, and specifications.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of finishing techniques, materials (tiling, painting, gypsum, woodwork), and MEP coordination.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to work under pressure.
• Education: Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field is often preferred.
• Languages: Basic English required; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is a strong advantage.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
