Finishing Foremen

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Foreman / Chargehand (Finishing Works) with 10–15 years of hands-on experience in civil construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and executing all finishing activities on site, ensuring high-quality standards, timely completion, and effective coordination with teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all finishing works such as plastering, painting, tiling, carpentry, false ceiling, joinery, flooring, and interior fit-out.

- Supervise site teams, chargehands, and workers to ensure proper execution as per drawings and specifications.

- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers for material, manpower, and schedule requirements.

- Inspect workmanship and ensure work quality meets client and project standards.

- Monitor daily progress and report to the Site/Project Engineer or Construction Manager.

- Resolve site-level technical issues and ensure smooth workflow.

- Enforce site safety protocols and ensure cleanliness and compliance.

- Assist in material planning, stock monitoring, and wastage control.

- Conduct snagging, rectification works, and final finishing checks before handover.

- Ensure timely completion of finishing milestones as per schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma/ITI/Technical Certification in Civil or relevant trade (preferred).

- 10–15 years of experience in finishing works in civil construction (residential, commercial, industrial, or interiors).

- Strong knowledge of finishing techniques, materials, detailing, and quality standards.

- Ability to read drawings and supervise finishing teams effectively.

- Experience coordinating subcontractors and labor teams.

- Good communication and leadership skills.
