Position: Project Engineer- Finishing

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finishing Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in overseeing and coordinating the finishing stage of high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Coordination:  Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for the finishing stage.
• Site Supervision:  Oversee and supervise site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordination with Stakeholders:  Collaborate closely with site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of finishing works.
• Quality Assurance and Control:  Implement rigorous quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and materials.
• Risk Management:  Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with the finishing stage.
• Progress Monitoring and Reporting:  Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators, and prepare regular reports for management.
• Change Order Management:  Review and approve change orders, ensuring they align with project objectives and budget constraints.
• Safety and Compliance:  Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in high-rise building construction.
• In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction methodologies.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
