Finishing Tech

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finishing Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the final stages of product assembly and ensuring that finished goods meet quality standards. Your expertise in various finishing techniques, materials handling, and precision measurement will contribute to delivering high-quality products to our customers. Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, to asssemble and perform repairs on manufactured products
• Use forklifts to handle materials safely within the warehouse and fabrication areas
• Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding, welding, and assembly of components with precision measuring instruments
• Conduct surface preparation and finishing processes for manufacturing projects
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas while adhering to safety protocols
• Assist in the setup and calibration of machining and fabrication equipment to ensure quality standards are met
• Support materials handling activities, including loading/unloading materials and inventory management using warehouse experience skills

Qualifications

• Proven experience with handling hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining, fabrication, auto body repair, or auto painting processes
• Ability to read basic math measurements accurately for precise finishing work
• Experience with welding, auto body repair, or use of precision measuring instruments is preferred
• Prior experience working with materials handling equipment like forklifts is highly desirable

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
