To strengthen our compliance team in Muscat, we are seeking an experienced Fintech Compliance Lead to oversee regulatory adherence and risk management.

Role Overview

The Fintech Compliance Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance frameworks across fintech operations. This role requires deep knowledge of financial regulations, digital finance practices, and the ability to align compliance strategies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead compliance programs across fintech operations, ensuring adherence to local and international regulations.
• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate compliance risks.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and technology teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on fintech activities.
• Prepare compliance reports and present findings to senior leadership.
• Support audits and liaise with regulatory authorities.
• Train and mentor staff on compliance standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certification (CAMS, CCO, CPA, ACCA) strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs, with at least 3 years in fintech or digital finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, AML, KYC, and data protection frameworks.
• Familiarity with fintech platforms, digital payments, and blockchain technologies.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Pay: Up to RO2,500.000 per month

Work Location: In person
