We are currently looking for a Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing team working across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career within the fire and security industry while working alongside experienced engineers.
Role Overview
You will oversee the installation, commissioning (not essential) of a range of fire and security systems at commercial and residential sites.
Systems You Will Work With
- Fire alarm systems
- Intruder alarms
- CCTV systems
- Door access control
- Nurse call systems
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the installation, commissioning (not essential), and maintenance of fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm, nurse call and access control systems.
- Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and current regulations (e.g. BS5839)
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers
- Liaise with clients to deliver a high level of customer service
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
- Support project planning and ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire and security systems (essential)
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and relevant regulations
- Experience leading or supervising engineers
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- CSCS /ECS Card
- Own hand tools and drills

Pay: £17.00-£19.00 per hour
Experience:
- Fire Alarm system: 3 years (preferred)
