Fire Alarm & Fire Protection Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer specialized in Fire Alarm and Fire Protection Systems to join our Engineering Studies & Pricing Department.

This role is critical and directly impacts project profitability, bid success rate, and execution risk. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical studies, BOQs, and pricing proposals in compliance with NFPA, SBC, Civil Defense, and consultant requirements for both government and private projects across Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Technical Studies

• Review and analyze RFPs, IFC drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Develop complete technical proposals for:
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Fire Fighting Systems (Sprinkler, Hydrant, Hose Reel)
• Clean Agent Systems (FM-200, Novec 1230)
• Fire Pumps (when applicable)
• Ensure full compliance with:
• NFPA Codes
• Saudi Building Code (SBC)
• Saudi Civil Defense requirements
• Consultant and client specifications

Estimation & Pricing

• Prepare detailed BOQs, material take-offs, and cost breakdowns.
• Build balanced and realistic pricing (avoid underpricing risks and overpricing losses).
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for accurate material pricing.
• Identify technical and commercial risks during estimation stage.
• Support management with value engineering options when required.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with Projects, Procurement, and Engineering teams.
• Support tender clarifications, post-bid technical discussions, and revisions.
• Maintain organized records of pricing data, assumptions, and exclusions.

Required Qualifications Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Fire Protection Engineering

(or equivalent)

Experience

• 3–7 years experience in:
• Fire Alarm & Fire Protection systems
• Engineering studies and/or estimation
