Fire Alarm Supervisor – Job Description Job Summary

The Fire Alarm Supervisor manages a team of technicians and ensures that all fire alarm systems are installed, inspected, maintained, and repaired according to the QCD/NFPA standards. The role involves both technical expertise and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise installation, testing, Maintenance and commissioning of fire alarm systems and Fire suppression systems

· Ensure systems comply with relevant standards such as NFPA codes and qcd regulations

· Lead and coordinate a team of fire alarm technicians

· Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system troubleshooting

· Review drawings, schematics, and system designs

· Identify faults and ensure timely corrective actions

· Maintain documentation, reports, and inspection records

· Liaise with clients, contractors, and safety authorities

· Provide training and guidance to junior staff

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field

· Proven experience in fire alarm systems (installation & maintenance)

· Strong knowledge of fire alarm panels, detectors, and suppression systems

· Familiarity with standards like NFPA 72,NFPA 101,NFPA 70

· Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability

· Good communication and reporting skills

· 3-5 Years of Experience in fire alarm system is preferred.

· UPDA Certification will be an advantage
