Job Purpose / Objective
Responsible for installing, programming, configuring, commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, performing diagnostics, and repairing fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems as per set guidelines.

Description

• Check fire alarm systems including smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, and other fire suppression equipment.
• Inspect buildings for fire hazards such as blocked exits or malfunctioning equipment.
• Review electrical layout blueprints to determine fire alarm system requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support the review of electrical layout blueprints related to fire alarm systems.
• Respond to fire alarms and emergency calls to identify the source of the fire or malfunction.
• Maintain records of fire alarm system activity and fire safety measures.
• Regularly test and repair fire alarm and communication systems.
• Identify and repair malfunctions in system components or wiring, including installing replacement parts.
• Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
• Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
• Perform other tasks/duties within their knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Requirements

• Education/Professional Qualification: Diploma
• Experience: At least two (2) years in the same field.
• Professional Licensing / Certification / Training: N/A
