Fire Alarm Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems across various commercial and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong fire alarm systems knowledge, and experience in maintenance.

Duties

• Install, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, Emergency/Exit Lights, Voice Evacuation system, Fire Suppression systems, Fire Pumps.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system design documents
• Conduct Planned preventive maintenance inspections to ensure proper function of fire alarm systems
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform system fitting and wiring tasks
• Perform routine maintenance and service and sensors to ensure optimal operation
• Prepare the reports during inspections and provdie details of requried rectifications with full system details.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or Service Technician in the fire protection industry
• Strong electrical experience with low voltage , alarm system components
• Knowledge of drawings, system design principles.
• Familiarity with maintenance inspection processes and testing of fire systems.
• Experience with field service operations including troubleshooting and repairs on-site
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment for installation work
• Excellent understanding of fire alarm systems, sensors, low voltage wiring, and electrical safety standards
• Prior experience in maintenance of fire alarm systems.
