Fire Alarm Technician and Fire Fighting Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems and firefighting systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fire protection equipment
• Troubleshoot and repairing fire alarm panels, detectors, and suppression systems
• Conduct routine inspections as per civil defence requirements
• Ensure all work complies with UAE Civil Defence and safety regulations
• Prepare service reports and maintenance documentation
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and site teams
• Attend emergency breakdown calls when required
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years UAE experience in fire alarm & firefighting systems
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm panels (addressable & conventional)
• Experience in sprinkler systems, hose reels, and fire pumps
• Familiar with UAE Civil Defence standards
• Ability to read drawings and schematics
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with major fire alarm brands (e.g., Honeywell, Notifier, Siemens, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of MEP systems
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
