Job Overview
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing, installation, testing, and inspection of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. The role requires technical proficiency in electrical work, knowledge of HSE practices, and the ability to manage on-site reporting and documentation. This role also involves supporting fire fighting systems where needed.

What You ll Do

* Install, maintain, and repair Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, Emergency Lighting, and Central Battery Systems
* Conduct system cabling, loop continuity testing, and fault tracing
* Perform GI conduit installation, cable tray setup, and PVC conduit placement in slabs
* Inspect and test fire alarm and lighting systems to ensure continuous operability
* Monitor, document, and report equipment malfunctions
* Collaborate with supervisors and follow work orders and task assignments
* Adhere to HSE standards during all work activities
* Support Fire Fighting systems as needed (e.g., sprinklers, pumps, wet risers)
* Submit daily maintenance and service reports

Ideal Profile

* Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical or Electronics
* Minimum 2 years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance
* Strong understanding of fire safety systems including FM200, VESDA, and Pre-Action Systems
* Basic knowledge of Fire Fighting systems: Sprinklers, Fire Pumps, Wet Risers, and Hydrants
* Proficient in reading and writing in English; Hindi language skills are an advantage
* Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
* Familiarity with safety compliance and maintenance standards in the UAE
